Commissions
I take bespoke commissions for re-upholstering and updating your individual pieces of furniture, footstools, lampshades & cushions.
Commission Process
The first step is usually to email me a few photos of the piece of furniture that you would like me to work on or call me for a chat
This will usually be followed by a home visit (depending on distance) to discuss and assess the work needed and fabric required
After the home visit I will send a quote with details of the work to be carried out and costs
Once you are happy to proceed, a 50% deposit is required to book in your project. I will give you an estimated date for the furniture to be collected and expected completion date. The actual date will be confirmed nearer the time
The remaining 50% payment is due on completion and prior to delivery
Design Process
After an initial chat to discuss your requirements and budget. We will review fabric and trim options together. There are so many options and I can bring fabric books with me to the home visit and/or direct you to websites to explore ideas
Once you have chosen your fabric, I will supply samples of fabric and any trims so that you can make sure that you are completely happy with your choices
If you would like to provide your own fabric, please contact me to discuss the suitability of your fabric before purchasing/ordering you fabric. Not all fabrics are suitable for upholstery purposes and will not give you the finish and durability required or meet current fire regulations
